Software Engineers
We currently have multiple openings for Junior and Senior Software Engineers.
This is a great opportunity to work on turnkey projects that contribute directly to investment management workflow, as well as in cutting edge high performance computing areas.
- Key Technologies: Java/J2EE, Hibernate, XML, Servlets, Ant, Swing, C++, SQL, Vision, HTML
- Database Experience: Oracle, Vision, Sybase
- Application Servers: JBoss
- Platforms: Linux, UNIX
- Experience with Beans and Apache
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex application problems independently
- 1-5+ years of software engineering/development experience, with at least 1 years experience designing/developing server-based Java applications
- Experience with the complete software development lifecycle and iterative design
- BS or MS in computer science or equivalent experience
- Experience in financial industry desirable
- Exposure to MATLAB,R,VHDLwill be considered positive
- CFA/Financial Engineering/Extensive Mathematical background will be considered a strong plus
Qualifications
- Participate in analysis and design of specific application or framework enhancements
- Determine engineering tradeoffs, estimates, and overall approach
- Provide design support for object and relational modeling, data integration, business services, platform infrastructure
- Work with QA, Release Engineering on packaging, deployment, and automated builds
- Ability to author technical and application design documents, conduct technical and application presentations to technical and non-technical staff
